Meet Your Master Trainer!

Emily Villareal Carnes

Emily Villareal is a Master Trainer for Club Pilates and the Lead Instructor at Club Pilates Bown Crossing. With over a decade of experience and training through BASI, Emily specializes in contemporary Pilates, offering a dynamic and personalized approach to movement.

Holding a degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Science and Prescription, Emily brings a deep understanding of human movement and biomechanics to their teaching. Passionate about rehabilitation and injury recovery, they have worked with clients of all backgrounds, including those recovering from surgeries and individuals with unique physical conditions, such as a below-the-knee amputation. Their teaching philosophy is simple yet powerful: train the person in front of them and meet them where they are, ensuring every session is tailored to the individual’s needs and goals.

Leading an active lifestyle, Emily grew up riding horses and mountain biking, fostering a deep appreciation for movement, strength, and adaptability. This background influences their approach to Pilates, helping clients build resilience and confidence both inside and outside the studio.
As a leader in the Pilates community, Emily is dedicated to empowering others through mindful movement, encouraging them to discover their own strength, balance, and potential.
