Exercise physiologist Kelly Kennedy just opened Club Pilates Boca South in The Garden Shops on Powerline Road. The new studio is offering newcomers a free 30-minute tryout. That appealed to Allison Waid, a Boca Raton stay-at-home mother. "I'm here to get more fit and toned," said Waid, who does high-impact exercise. "This is easier on my body and it's a good workout." At just over 2,000 square feet, the mirrored space at 7050 W. Palmetto Park Road has 12 reformers, a trapeze, Barre, spring board, mats and other equipment at each station. There's a private room for one-on-one training and a rack of hand weights.
