Abigael
Instructor
Abigael (Abi) has been a competitive dancer all her life and currently dances on the varsity team at Wilfrid Laurier University. Growing up, Abi trained in all styles of dance and was planning to dance professionally until she injured her knee and had reconstructive surgery. At the advice of her Doctor, Abi entered the world of Pilates and has never looked back. Not only did she recover from her injury, but through these exercise methods, Abi was able to focus on her flexibility, strength, and body awareness to improve her dancing. Because Pilates focuses on fluid and controlled motions, her dance training made it easy to learn and adapt her knowledge. Abi recently completed her instructor training and has found a passion for teaching and helping others. Abi is currently studying psychology and knows that exercise is key to a balanced body and mind. Always laughing and dancing, Abi lives each day to the fullest and uses her enthusiastic and energetic personality to motivate others. She aims to not only challenge her clients to reach their individual goals but also empower them to strengthen and celebrate their bodies. Whether you are an elite athlete or just beginning your fitness journey, Abi is excited to help you reach your goals and leave class feeling strong, inspired, and with a smile on your face.
