I fell in love with Pilates in the spring of 2021 when I took my first reformer class with Club Pilates. It was then that I discovered the healing power of Pilates. Pilates was the first time I had exercised in years and left a class pain-free. I injured my pelvis in 2003 when I was in the Marine Corps. After so many years of life, pregnancy, motherhood, work and pushing through daily pain, I was relieved to find a natural way to go about my everyday life. I have noticed a difference in my body; Pilates has eased my lower back pain, improved my posture and the overall strength and flexibility of my entire body. I feel that we can all learn something new about our bodies with every Pilates class through mindful movement. We are stronger than we think.

Not only do I love teaching Pilates, I also teach elementary aged kids all about physical education and how important it is for our health and bodies. If I’m not teaching you can find me anywhere outdoors doing something fun with my family. I love the fresh air and creating memories with loved ones. Life is short so live every day to the fullest.
