Instructor
I started my massage career in 2005. I quickly observed poor posture leads to muscular and
biomechanics dysfunction. I knew how to treat my clients for massage, but I did not know how to prevent their symptoms. I researched Pilates and boom! I fell in love with Pilates when I took my first class. At first, I went to get toned. But, I humbled myself
and realized my my body alignment was not aligned, lost focus, and had no idea how restricted my spine was. I have a lot of work to do! Pilates is an amazing whole body workout, but it is so much more! Pilates challenges your mind, breath, focus, balance, stability, control of movements. This is a mind body connection and the moment you are not connected you are lost. My goal as a Pilates instructor is for you to walk out of class taller, stronger, and more awareness of your posture. I want you to walk out of my class, thinking that was hard because you used every single muscle in all different directions with
complete control of your mind and body. If I am not working, I am with my husband, two beautiful daughters, and my two dog. We have a big family here , transplants from Michigan. We take advantage of all the fun parks: Legoland, Adventure Island, Busch Gardens, and the neighborhood parks. I love to run, rollerblade, kayak, and just to be outside. I love Florida and I truly believe God brought me to Florida to grow and I am enjoying the process.
