Katie Long
Pilates Instructor
My journey with Pilates began when a close friend encouraged me to sign up for a mat Pilates certification, knowing my passion for all things fitness. As a lifelong athlete, with experience in water polo during high school and competing in marathons and triathlons, I’ve always appreciated the strength and endurance that come from physical activity. What captivated me most about Pilates is the unique mind-body connection it offers—allowing me to slow down, focus, and be fully present in each movement.
With a degree in Exercise Science and certifications from the Kane School, Club Pilates, and Neuro Studio (Pilates for neurological conditions), I am committed to helping clients of all fitness levels feel their best. Whether you’re new to Pilates or looking to deepen your practice, I believe that Pilates is for everybody and can be a lifelong tool for strength, flexibility, and well-being, no matter your age.
In my classes, I focus on creating a supportive and inclusive environment, tailoring each session to individual needs—whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a neurological condition, or simply seeking to improve your overall fitness. My goal is to empower my clients to build strength and mobility in a way that supports their unique goals and lifestyles.
When you join one of my classes, expect a thoughtful, balanced workout that strengthens both the body and mind.
