Suzanne
Instructor
Being a former classical ballet dancer, my passion for ballet and movement extended to teaching, and I became a certified ballet teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and began teaching ballet both here in Canada and abroad for 17 years. I believe that
correct form and good posture is the framework to building strength and flexibility. I was first introduced to Pilates 23 years ago when a ballet colleague who was also a
physiotherapist came into class one day and introduced Pilates as a complimentary
form of exercise to add to our ballet training because of its emphasis on core strength
and stability. Years later, I attended a mom-and-baby Pilates class and was once again
reminded of its benefits! It soon became part of my life, and I became a STOTT Certified Instructor in matwork and reformer, as well as completing the STOTT Barre workshop. I am also a certified BarreConcept Instructor and created a barre training program to support my teachings in Barre Fitness, and to pass on my passion and knowledge to others. I am grateful to be part of the Club Pilates team and look forward to offering you a fusion of Pilates, barre, and body conditioning in every class. I hope to see you soon.
