Chae began her professional wellness journey in 2005, teaching yoga full-time. After experiencing a debilitating spine injury in 2011, she sought out additional movement modalities, blending functional movement into her yoga classes. Her personal healing journey — working closely with personal trainers and physical therapists — inspired her to become a certified personal trainer through ACE. A Pilates Springboard Certification soon followed, leading her to further her Pilates education and earn comprehensive training under Ellie Herman, the inventor of the Pilates Springboard. Since 2009, Chae has taught Yoga Teacher Trainings and co-created several Yoga Alliance-approved programs. She is also an Ayurvedic Health Coach and has dedicated over 20,000 hours to serving others as an instructor. Chae’s favorite Pilates movements are Lunge and Climbing on the Chair. She finds nourishment meditating in nature, loves singing karaoke, and is grateful for the opportunity to help others move and live more robustly.
