Dipti
Instructor
Movement has been a core part of Dipti’s journey. While raised in the MS Delta, she studied and taught Taekwondo for a decade and learned Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance. As a mechanical engineering student at the University of California, young professional, and grad student in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dipti excelled in alpine hiking, rock climbing, sprint triathlons, and half marathons.
As an international development practitioner the last 25 years, mostly in S/SE Asia, she lived in remote hilly forests and high altitude deserts, facilitating communities to build their own village-scale hydro, biomass, solar, and wind energy systems. At the brink of burn out and returning home to MS in 2020, she discovered Pilates and then the Club Pilates Memphis community — both becoming integral to her sense of purpose now being based in the US, while continuing to remotely support communities abroad. Dipti became a Club Pilates instructor in 2024.
Dipti is deeply passionate about enabling others to experience the healing benefits Pilates for body, mind, and spirit. Her happy places are Club Pilates studios and local organic farms.
