Amy
General Manager & Certified Instructor Sub
Amy’s first introduction to Pilates was through Mari Winsor DVDs back in the late 90’s. Her first time on a reformer was in 2012 while living in Buenos Aires. Even though she barely understood anything her instructor was saying, she realized the true magic of Pilates was the reformer! Her balance, posture and flexibility improved. She felt lighter in her movement, and the chronic pain in her feet, ankles and knees subsided even though she was dancing Argentine tango nearly every day in 3-inch heels.
After being a member of the Queen Anne Club Pilates studio for 3 years, Amy was in need of a career change in 2021 so she enrolled in the Club Pilates teacher training program, earing her certification in December 2021. After teaching for a year, she became the General Manager of the South Lake Union Club Pilates for 2 years, then returned to her home studio at Queen Anne as the General Manager in February of 2024.
When she’s not at the studio, Amy enjoys indoor hydroponic gardening, fostering kittens, and traveling around the country visiting her 9 nibblings. She lives in Seattle with her three black rescue cats, Pip, Grayson, and Ida May.
