Valerie became an advocate for an active & healthy lifestyle after leaving a career as an analyst - spending 60+ hours per week in front of a computer & multiple monitors. After a gentle scolding from her doctor, she knew that she needed to make immediate changes. There had to be a way to reverse the negative effects a sedentary lifestyle had on her posture, weight, cholesterol, blood pressure, and general organ function. The drastic career change triggered a passion for movement and body awareness. She would love to share what she has learned about what a new focus and outlook can do for strength, flexibility, posture, and balance. Outside of the Pilates studio, Valerie can be found on the hiking trails around Prescott with her dog, developing new skills on horseback, or learning how to play pickleball. She enthusiastically wants to try any new activity. Mountain biking is next.
