My lifelong belief is that our lives are a three-legged stool; mind, body and spirit (soul) and that each individual on the planet should care for, revere and nurture each one of those legs, creating value and a higher good for every life on their path. If one leg were not nurtured, the stool will topple! In my late thirties, I became a workout junkie, free weights, 5 and 10K races, seeking a healthier lifestyle, as well as stress relief from the business world. Fast forward a few years, after being involved in multiple businesses, I believe I finally found what I was searching for . . . . . . The mind-body spirit connection... embodied within Joseph Pilates vision.
I am new to Pilates and quite candidly, personally smitten by the process, in my opinion it melds together every aspect of my life. The Pilates platform and philosophy encourages flexibility, a safe buildable exercise routine, improving strength, balance, supporting the continuation of our youthful mind-body connection (which I’m sure you may agree, becomes a little fuzzier as you age). To take it a step further, a Pilates practice can become Zen like, when you focus on your routine and create that spiritual connection within yourself. As a business and life coach, I’ve always enjoyed proctoring workshops (coaching, soft skill, professional training, safety training etc.). Orchestrating a Pilates session as an instructor is just an extension of my life’s work. My intention is to continue to bring joy, value, mental and physical strength through the Pilates process to all individuals that attend my classes.
