Emi
Instructor
Emi is a freelance dance artist and Pilates instructor currently based in Brooklyn. She graduated from Muhlenberg College magna cum laude where she received her Bachelor’s in Dance and Business Administration. She is currently a scholarship student at the Paul Taylor school directed by Carolyn Adams. She has performed at Symphony Space with SKIN Dance Company directed by Mrs. Tina Thompson. Most recently, she has been in process with Hope Boykin developing “The Other Side” for the Kennedy Center and “Beauty Size and Color” for All Arts. She just performed with HopeBoykin Dance at the Chelsea Factory in “MOMENTS by Hope,” an evening which was inspired by Boykin’s self-published book MOMENTS. Emi discovered Pilates as a way to support her dance training and is passionate about sharing the functionality that Pilates brings to every human.
