I started my fitness coaching journey about 30 years ago. I absolutely love mechanical physics in relationship to the body, a science known as Kinesiology. I also love working with people, helping them reach goals, feel better and enjoy their time while they do it. I started my journey as a Physical Therapy Tech, working with Physical Therapists and patients. I learned so much about movement of the body. The PT’s I worked with were amazing and really helped patients feel better. I took this knowledge that I gained and meshed it with my degree in Exercise Science and became a Certified Personal Trainer. I had my own Personal Training business while my three children were young. This allowed me to have control over my hours so I could spend a large portion of my time home with my kiddos. As I trained and taught group fitness, my body started breaking down. I was searching for something where I could still coach movement but wouldn’t aggravate my knees and back. I found Pilates and fell in love! I knew I could work with people and make a great change in their fitness lives! I love Club Pilates because I can use my knowledge in general fitness and blend it with traditional Pilates…bringing our members an awesome results-driven experience!
