Kimberly D
Instructor
Kimberly DeFrance obtained her Pilates Certification through Club Pilates in 2024. She currently teaches at The Colony, North Frisco, Prosper, Rowlett and Plano. Originally from the Dallas area and a stint living abroad in England, Kimberly now resides with her teen daughter in Plano.
Although she grew up devoting her time to studying ballet, Kimberly chose business as a career and earned her MBA from Southern Methodist University. After many years in the corporate world as a Global Service Delivery Manager for Xerox and Microsoft, Kimberly tried her first Pilates class at Club Pilates in Prosper in 2021. This day changed the trajectory of her career.
As a self-proclaimed “Pilates Evangelist,” Kimberly was drawn to Club Pilates because she was able to rekindle her mind-body connection while strengthening and toning her body. Practicing Pilates is now a way of life for her that brings physical and mental clarity. Her life’s purpose is to bring this same mind-body connection to her clients at Club Pilates enabling them to be the strongest version of themselves.
When not in the studio teaching and practicing, Kimberly enjoys driving her Miata convertible with her daughter singing with music at full blast. After all, life is too short to drive a boring car! She enjoys a wide range of music from straight ahead jazz like John Coltrane and Kenny Dorham to bands like Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac. She enjoys curating weekly playlists for her Pilates classes. She also has a rescue pup named Freeway, a Maltese-Yorkie mix, who has stolen her heart.
