Kyla
Instructor
As a former Division 1 Track athlete and a certified Zumba instructor, Kyla knows the importance of sustaining one's life force through movement. She credits Pilates with strengthening her mental health journey and how the Club Pilates studio provided her a place to authentically belong.
Becoming a Pilates Instructor has become a catalyst for her to learn more about the body's regenerative healing power and share these learnings with others. Inspired by the Pilates Pioneer Kathy Grant, Kyla reminds her clients that "everything they do starts from the inside-out and connecting to your center". During her group classes, she incorporates elements from breathwork, body scanning and grounding techniques. She reminds everyone to be "inspired" by their breath before they exhale. In her private sessions, Kyla provides trauma-informed care through her Pilates instruction.
Outside of Pilates, Kyla enjoys nature walks with her furry companion, paddle-boarding and cultural excursions.
