Instructor
I was 4 years old when Classic Ballet became my whole life. I continued dancing until I was 16 and
moved on to Gymnastics. I learned Flamenco and Tap and joined the track and field and swim teams in high school. I first tried Pilates Matwork and Reformer back in 1995. The difficulty and amazing results captivated me. To this day, I haven’t found anything comparable to the benefits from the sequences from the contemporary Pilates approach and the options for multiple levels of fitness.
I started the Pilates journey by completing the Stott Pilates Matwork in 2014. Today I hold the Stott® Pilates Instructor Certifications for Matwork, Reformer, Injuries and Special Populations, Total Barre, @zenga and Halo. I’m a Canfitpro FIS, PTS, and Active Aging Certified Specialist.
I’m passionate about raising awareness about physical activity and healthier communities. I’ve been a guest speaker at multicultural events offering motivational and research based evidence on movement, recreation and mental health. I strive to offer multiple options and modifications on each class. Reformer classes definitely offer access, challenge, range of motion and repertoire for
everyone.
I still dance on my free time.
