Megan discovered Pilates while she was working as a professional ballet dancer. Wanting to gain a competitive edge against her fellow company members, she took Pilates regularly to cross-train and condition her body. Megan found that Pilates greatly enhanced her dancing and helped keep her injury-free during her professional performing career. As a result of experiencing firsthand how much Pilates enhanced her overall wellness, she decided to become an instructor. In addition to her Pilates certification, Megan holds a 200hr certification in yoga and is a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach and a Girls Gone Strong Pre & Postnatal Coaching Specialist. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Old Dominion University where she studied dance and exercise science. Megan loves using Pilates to help others achieve their individual fitness goals while encouraging better biomechanics to enhance overall wellness! She has taught Pilates in a wide of settings and to all abilities, from rehab clients to an NFL player and the touring artists of Cirque Du Soleil. When she’s not teaching Pilates, Megan is teaching dance or spending time on the water with her family.
