Rosalind Harrington
Instructor
Rosalind is a native of the Bay Area in California and grew up water skiing, swimming, and playing outside, but never participated in organized sports. She experienced a major life change in her 20s where she enrolled in college and truly began her fitness journey.
After Rosalind's first semester in college she decided to enroll in a ballet/contemporary dance class. She had never done anything like this and fell in love. Her physical fitness career launched from there. She danced for five more years and found that life had changed again.
Rosalind went on to become a soccer parent, volunteer team mom and a soccer coach of 14 years. She has sustained bumps and bruises to severe injuries. Through it all, Pilates has aided in all of her healing, including childbirth. The recovery and healing did not come quickly, but came after time and a diligent Pilates practice.
Rosalind believes this is what makes Pilates such a beautiful practice. You have the power to make it your own and she doesn't know of any other modality that will sustain you mentally and physically while also satisfying you emotionally. She has a passion for teaching Pilates and strives for that to show through in her classes.
