Staying active and keeping fit is an integral part of my life. I have been a professional in the fitness industry for over 25 years, teaching everything from Kickboxing to Zumba to TRX, Spin and Group Strength. When I discovered Pilates, I immediately loved the discipline and benefits of the practice. I enrolled in the Club Pilates Teacher Training Program and the rest is history.
Pilates has been a transformative life experience for me, as I found myself learning something new about the mind-body connection during each session. One of the biggest benefits of the Pilates method is its emphasis on core strength and body control; body cannot go where the mind has not been. Building a strong foundation and learning how to stabilize from the inside out are principles that can be applied not only in Pilates classes, but also in other types of workouts, as well as in daily life.
