Lindsay Hannah
Studio Manager, Instructor
Lindsay first tried Pilates in a physical therapy setting after another orthopedic injury and surgery. She was intrigued and excited by it, but babies, grad school, and accessibility to a studio prevented her from establishing a practice. As an avid skier and dancer in her youth she sustained multiple traumatic life-long orthopedic injuries, and after her first hip replacement and ninth knee surgery (on top of the roughly 10 other previous surgeries) she desperately needed to find a fitness activity that would protect and preserve her knees and hips. When she found Club Pilates it was love at first feet-in-straps!! After obtaining a Master's Degree in Professional Communication and being a stay-at-home mom for 14 years she was trying to establish a career in the business world, but found the experience unsatisfying and depressing. Then COVID happened! When we all finally emerged from the fog of quarantines and lockdowns she couldn't wait to get back into the studio! It was then that she saw the flier for the Club Pilates teacher training program and was then offered the chance to join the Club Pilates team while obtaining her 500 hour comprehensive Pilates certification. Lindsay says, "So in a very literal sense, Pilates has changed every aspect of my life- emotionally, physically, and professionally! I feel privileged to introduce new members to Pilates. I love showing them that anyone, regardless of age, experience, or physical limitations, can benefit from this dynamic fitness modality. I am living proof of how doing Pilates can help you DO LIFE!"
