Kit Fairbanks

Kit (they/them) fell in love with Pilates after it was recommended to them to help ease their anxiety. Having suffered a damaged relationship to their body due to frequent and intense panic attacks, Pilates taught them how to reconnect with their body on a deeper level and keep themself grounded. In addition to Pilates, Kit is a NASM-certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist. They incorporate anatomy and biomechanics into every class with the goal of members leaving with not only the understanding of the "why" behind the movement, but having the confidence to apply what they learn in class to their daily lives. Kit believes Pilates is more than something you just "do" - it's a way of life.
When Kit is not teaching or taking class at the studio, they enjoy running, lifting weights, playing video games, doing puzzles, reading, or snuggling with their two cats.
