Melissa started her journey in Pilates in 2022 and instantly fell in love with all things Pilates! After 20+ years of embracing many different types of strength training, functional and mobility movements, it was Pilates that checked ALL the boxes! She knew she wanted to become an instructor so she could share with others all the benefits she experienced with her own mental and physical health. Finding a practice that was so inclusive and attainable while also providing challenges and goals to strive toward, Pilates became such an important part of her day-to-day life. With her teaching background and experience in strength training, yoga, running and swimming, she knows the importance of daily mobility and strengthening exercises for all ages and abilities. She loves teaching others to work towards a healthier mind and body, no matter the limitations or goals. Connecting your mind to your breath, your breath to your movements = the possibilities are endless!
