Aimee Baker
Aimee Baker earned her Pilates teaching certificate from the internationally renowned Pilates Center of Boulder in 2002 and her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance at the University of Colorado. She is certified to teach the Functional Movement Screen, Pilates, Corealign®, Lagree Fitness, AFAA Primary Group Exercise, and NASM Group Personal Training. Aimee was selected as the Best Personalized Pilates Teacher by the Philadelphia Magazine in 2008.
Aimee enriches her approach to movement with her education in anatomy. In 2008, she graduated from Body Language, a 200 hour course with the anatomist Thomas Myers. She is currently faculty in training in Myers’s Anatomy Trains® program and brings this information to the movement world. She is also an ongoing participant in intensive full body dissections.
A steady and nurturing teacher, Aimee helps every client achieve gradual and lasting physical changes. Her multifaceted Pilates classes help students develop body awareness and strength in order to better manage and counterbalance the demands of daily living.
Aimee lives in Highlands Ranch with her husband Gus, 7 year old daughter Carolena and baby boy Carlos. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, golfing and salsa dancing.
