Ann Geraci brings 3 decades of education and experience as a master physical trainer, mind body practitioner, and wellness educator. Her fitness certifications include ACE American Council on Exercise for group exercise and personal training, BASI Body Arts Science International and APPI Australian Physiotherapy Institute for Pilates and Rehabilitative Training, Yoga (200YT) and collective nutritional certifications. A physically active child, trained in classical Ballet and gymnastics, she was a competitive athlete throughout college and took up marathon running in adulthood. Ann became a fitness instructor and personal trainer while living in Germany in the 90’s. Her specific interest in Pilates first came after the birth of her twins, where during her hospitalization, she attended postnatal Pilates classes. At the age of 45, she reconnected to Pilates after back and hip injury and physical therapy for healing. Now as a seasoned practitioner, Ann utilizes Pilates as her primary training modality. Her integrative holistic approach gives her clients a positive mindful experience. She customizes each session to meet individual needs, while addressing the whole-body components of physical, mental and emotional balance. Pilates is the foundational training that strengthens the whole body from the inside out, correcting neuromuscular dysfunctional patterns in order to achieve optimal physical performance. Ann’s mindful approach to training goes hand and hand with her philosophy of life. The repetition of conscious movement creates the essential small changes to achieve the wholeness of well-being and optimal health. A strong body, focused mind and joyful spirit are the components of happiness and what makes all else in life possible!
