Shelly Hodge is excited to be a part of the Club Pilates team! She has been in the fitness and wellness industry for over 22 years and was always active in dance and cheerleading prior to starting her career. She loves sharing fitness, health and wellness with others to help them improve their wellbeing and quality of life. She has taught a variety of fitness modalities (kickboxing, water fitness, swimming lessons, group cycling, yoga, mat pilates, step aerobics, HIIT, bootcamps, etc.), wellness classes and certification workshops (Red Cross CPR, Lifeguarding, Water Safety Instructor, AFAA Personal Fitness Trainer, etc.) She loved health and wellness so much that she pursued her B.S. in Health Science- Promotion and Assessment Concentration with a minor in nutrition from James Madison University, and Master of Public Health Degree from East Tennessee State University. Shelly has been enjoying Pilates since the early 2000's and got her mat certification from BASI, and she completed her 500 hour comprehensive Club Pilates training. She hopes to see you in class soon!
Shelly lives in Denton with her husband, daughter, son and 2 pups. She also teaches yoga in Denton, keeps up with Mean Green Basketball (her husband is a coach:), enjoys her children's dance and sports, and finds time to get her own workouts and keep up with her friends.
