Amy B
Pilates Instructor
Amy discovered Pilates as a high school athlete who was riddled with constant injury due to hip imbalances, postural pitfalls, and a lack of full-body strength. Pilates was her saving grace to bring her back to the athletic lifestyle she loved of downhill ski racing and long-distance running. After graduating from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art, working as a graphic designer and at a physical therapy clinic, and all the while practicing Pilates to maintain her personal health, she became a mother of a little boy. Pregnancy and birth opened up a whole new world of interest in postpartum health and recovery. Pilates yet again was a saving grace to bring her personal health back to balance postpartum. After practicing Pilates personally for over 15 years, and constantly finding extreme value in her personal practice of Pilates, she became a Nationally Certified Pilates instructor with a passion to help clients achieve their goals for a happier, healthier, and stronger life through the practice of Pilates.
