Hi everyone! My name is Lea and I am a graduate from the University of Guelph with a Major in Marketing and Minor in Sport Management. Pilates has been a great focus of mine through the years now, since my mom introduced me to my first class five years ago and I immediately fell in love with this type of exercise. With a strong background in dance, Pilates has allowed me to keep physical discipline, which is what I admire most in sports. Not only has Pliates benefitted me physically, it has also allowed for a great sense of meditation to the mind, body and soul. Since being active is a very huge part of my life, by playing competitive sports growing up and continuing with strength training methods; Pilates has helped me to train myself better by preventing injuries due to having proper form and alignment during physical activities and everyday life. I am very excited to be teaching at Club Pilates and hope to inspire others with the physical and emotional benefits Pilates has to offer. Whether it is to improve overall quality of life, physical goals, rehabilitation, or athletic training, I will strive to offer my help through movement in Pilates!
