Being born in California, I was always careful about my health but soon after school and kids my focus was diverted to other places. After having two kids, I was prone to back issues, easily aggravated with certain activities and the constant pain. I initially stumbled upon Pilates while searching for different pathways to ease my back pain. I was impressed with how Pilates regained the strength in my back and relief of pain was achieved. My knowledge and understanding of the Pilates method will continue to inspire and help others with similar situations to achieve mobility and strength. I have gained the strength to maintain proper pelvic alignment and to avoid further straining of the hip flexors. I can continue to run alongside my children and live a fully functional lifestyle.
