Christine Angel
Instructor
Christine’s love of movement started at an early age with long distance running. This passion for running expanded to the gym and engagement in personal weight training programs and eventually to military service.
It was during Christine’s military service that she found a passion for teaching and decided to obtain a masters in instructional technology and design. Eventually, wanting to be more engaged in research, writing and publishing, she eventually earned her doctorate.
Retirement from the military eventually opened up more time to explore new opportunities for research, writing, and marathon training but the group camaraderie in working with others toward the achievement of a common goal she experienced during her 20+ years of military service was now missing.
Christine found Pilates and instantly developed a passion for developing the mind-body connection and the concept of functional movement. Moreover, Christine discovered that she could combine her teaching and fitness background within the Pilates environment and work with like-minded people in helping others to achieve and maintain a high quality of life through movement.
