Kristin Brown
Kristin first discovered Pilates during her career as a professional ballet dancer. In addition to the benefits of Pilates for her health and fitness, the Pilates method has also been imperative in her rehabilitation of two hip replacements and lumbar spine surgery.
Kristin has a degree in Sports Medicine, was a nationally certified Athletic Trainer, and brings 30 years of teaching experience in dance and movement. She taught ballet technique, and anatomy and kinesiology for the dance majors as a faculty member of Eastern University and The University of the Arts. In 2012 Kristin became a teacher in the Dance for Parkinson’s Disease® program and taught weekly movement classes for people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.
