Erin Phelan
Erin loves Pilates because it gives her the strength to pursue her passions. It’s been about 10 years since she decided to start Irish dancing again. Most dancers will retire in their late teens or early 20s because of the toll it takes on their bodies. Since starting Pilates, Erin has found that she is able to push herself further than before and experiences less aches afterwards.
Recently, Erin had great success at the Mid Atlantic Oireachtas, the regional championships of Irish dancers from Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Delaware. She placed 18th in the 25 and older solo competition and her team placed first. She is training to complete at the North American National Championships which will be held in Montreal in 2022.
Outside of Pilates and dance, Erin likes to read, kayak, and play trivia. She has 2 cats and a dog.
