Heather M.
Instructor
Heather McKay is a Dallas, Texas native who first discovered Pilates at age 16 training with the well respected Mari Winsor while at a summer dance intensive in New York. She later attended Texas Christian University and received her Pilates Teaching Certificate through TCU Office of Extended Education’s 600+ hour comprehensive training program, alongside earning a BFA in Modern Dance and minor in Child Development. Her training is a balance between the classical method of Joseph Pilates, and contemporary methods. She believes Pilates is for every body. Committed to the individual, even in a group class setting, Heather will always make the effort to teach a fun and functional work out that is accessible both mentally and physically for all. Because of this gained efficacy in her client’s bodies, she hopes that they may walk away with personal confidence and agency over their body and mind, leading to an overall wellness.
