Ann C
Instructor
Ann is a former gymnast with a strong passion for fitness. In addition to gymnastics, she has a background in yoga, tennis, track, softball, downhill skiing, dancing (ballet and jazz), and baton.
She took her first Pilates reformer class in 2013 and was impressed by the variety of balance, coordination, strengthening, and flexibility challenges it offered. In her young adulthood, Ann began to experience chronic hip pain due to wear and tear from her athletic activities in her younger years. Eventually, the pain reached a point that necessitated surgery. She turned exclusively to Pilates reformer exercises for rehab, which not only aided in her recovery, but made her stronger than before. This motivated Ann to deepen her own Pilates practice and eventually enroll in teacher training. She hopes to use her experience and training knowledge to help others with their athletic endeavors.
