Jean Kaul, NCPT
Jean is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT), and Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates Instructor. She has completed over 550 hours of training on all of the Pilates equipment and continues her education and training through workshops including anatomy, back care, osteoporosis, Pilates for Athletes, pre-and post natal Pilates, Pilates for Men, and active aging. She has also received the Integrated Movement Specialist Certification through Balanced Body, which takes a deep dive into the relationship between science, anatomy, and movement with a focus on developing effective, efficient, and quality movement and building a common bridge between the Pilates and fitness communities. In addition, Jean is a TRX Qualified Instructor.
Jean found Pilates as a distance runner, and discovered its transformative power to balance, strengthen and mobilize the body. She believes that Pilates is not only a natural complement to athletics, but also a basis for the movements of daily life. She combines extensive teaching experience with a love of Pilates to create a safe and joyful experience for people of all ages and abilities.
