Gina
Instructor
Gina is a Comprehensively Certified and Bridge Trained Pilates Instructor through the Club Pilates Teacher Training Program. At age 5, Gina enrolled in her first gymnastics class. She loved everything about gymnastics - the physicality, choreography, and mental strength required to compete at all levels. Little did she know her love of gymnastics would fuel a career in sports, health and wellness. In addition to coaching club gymnastics and competitive cheerleading for over 15 years, Gina held numerous certifications as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor while employed at various health clubs around the DFW area.
In looking back at her career in coaching and fitness, it wasn't so much the sport or activity that motivated Gina, it was the positive impact fitness had on her clients. Seeing people grow both physically and spiritually through exercise is truly amazing! Self-confidence often improves, relationships strengthen, and people become better versions of themselves, when living a healthy lifestyle.
In 2019, Gina noticed a significant change in her activity level and overall motivation to remain healthy. The workouts she once loved seemed to have little impact on her overall health and weight loss goals. She knew she needed to change gears, and joined Club Pilates. The rest is history.
Gina earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree in Nonprofit and Community Resource Management from the University of North Texas, and an academic certification in Human Development and Coaching of Sport from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay.
