Jackie
Instructor
Jackie’s passion for Pilates began in 2011 when she decided to give Pilates a try. She was nursing a shoulder injury brought on, in part, by more traditional resistance training with free weights. Once she took her first Reformer class, she was hooked! As she continued practicing, the pain that she experienced for years from her rotator cuff tear, went away. She became stronger and more flexible and more confident. Early in 2020, Jackie decided Pilates Teacher Training was right for her. Becoming a teacher would give her the opportunity to share her love of Pilates and its transformational qualities with others. Jackie practices Pilates nearly every day and complements that practice with yoga. Her other interests include hiking, cycling, and skiing. She loves to cook, watch football, and live music, golf and travel. She and her husband have two cats and live in Cottonwood Heights.
