Sarah Durham
Instructor
Sarah started her Pilates journey in the mid 90’s while taking ballet classes as a teenager. She was first introduced to Pilates through the dance setting and home videos. Fast forward 20+ years after 5 kids and a slew of health issues, she was discouraged as she had tried many different types of fitness classes/methods only to walk away either injured, unable to get out of bed for days, or with panic attacks. Knowing she had to keep her body moving she started a Pilates/Barre home workout and lost 20lbs in 6 weeks! Around that time she started seeing ads for Club Pilates and discovered the Teacher Training Program on their website and signed up to become an instructor. She wanted to learn more about the movements and exercise, as she fell in love with the way Pilates and Barre classes made her feel, so she decided she would pursue getting certified so she could share her passion with others. Her intention is to help people lead healthier lives and feels sharing her love for Pilates is a great way to do so.
Sarah received her Mat, Springboard, Chair and Reformer certification from Club Pilates. She is a dedicated wife to Ari for 24 years, and together they have 5 awesome children. Sarah has a passion for making people feel their best through the practice of Pilates and her goal at the end of each session is to have her clients/members feeling stronger, more flexible, encouraged, and relaxed.
