Brandon M.

Instructor
Brandon first began his journey in movement by studying Dance Performance and communications at Rhode Island College. While at RIC, Brandon became the first dancer in the country to receive a Lin-Manuel Miranda scholarship for dance & choreography. From there, he dove into academia serving as an adjunct professor teaching Dance Performance & Choreography at Dean College and Boston University. Looking to further his knowledge in kinesiology and anatomy, Brandon developed an injury prevention course for Boston University’s summer dance intensive in 2020. Most recently, Brandon received his Reformer & Mat certifications with Boston Body Pilates to continue his work in fitness, body alignment, and injury prevention. Brandon's focus is on corrective and fundamental exercises with the addition of stretching to improve clients’ movement capabilities ranging from walking to extreme forms of movement such as professional dancing, gymnastics, Track and field, etc. Brandon enjoys teaching and training on the reformer and mat. He loves foundational mat and reformer exercises with a Pilates ball and Pilates Resistance Ring to enhance the client's experience and mind-body connection in addition to his own personal practice.
