My Pilates journey began 22 years ago in a small class
offered with a gym membership. I continued to practice
classic Pilates, but my real passion at the time was stand-up
paddleboarding. I started paddling in 2009. Back then, it was
a solo effort before the sport became popular. I took some
training to improve my techniques, as well as achieving
certification that would allow me to teach. I quickly realized
that Pilates was the perfect compliment to training on the
water. Stability, core strength and functional movement are
the fundamentals for both modalities.
That was it, passions collided and I earned Pilates
certification in 2020.
Learning is ongoing and life just keeps getting better!
